Morton Knights of Columbus Annual 8th
Grade Boys Basketball Tournament
This tournament has been sponsored by the Morton
Knights of Columbus for 48 years.
The Blessed Sacrament Tars won
the 8th grade Catholic Schools Class A Championship
Basketball Tournament the weekend of January 4-5,
2013. The Tars defeated Peru Catholic, Peoria Holy
Family and Pekin St. Joseph in the championship
game.

Knights of Columbus Morton Free Throw
Contest Regional Competitors
Six boys and girls from the Morton Council
participated in the 2013 Knights of Columbus
Free Throw Championship Regional competition
in Princeville on March 3rd. These shooters
won in their respective age divisions at the
local and district competitions. Lucas
Beebe, Ethan Schultz, Megan Gold, Taylor Van
Etten, Cooper Kraft and Bryan Koch.
